Travelogue: lake of hearts, Idaho

This place felt like a long hunted treasure, tucked into the Idaho mountains, guarded by three hundred million trees.

The water was warm.  The air was cool. Light blazed in their eyes and it filled the sky, illuminating the whole world and my heart.

The scenic byway was steep and ever curving,  but oh, the purest air.  I'd do it all again.
